Are you tired of manually downloading files one by one? Looking for a quick and efficient way to download multiple resources from the web? Look no further! Introducing the Chrome Download Manager, a versatile extension that revolutionizes your downloading process.
Experience the Convenience of Batch Downloading
With an impressive rating of 4.58 based on user reviews, this Chrome extension has proven its worth in simplifying the download process. The advanced filtering system allows you to extract only the desired links from bulk web pages, saving you valuable time and effort.
One of the standout features is the name masks system, which intelligently renames your downloaded files based on contextual information available for each link. No more generic file names or confusion when organizing your downloads.
Custom folders provide a seamless organization system, allowing you to direct your downloads to specific locations of your choice. Whether it's favorite folders for easy access or automatic folders based on user-defined rules, this extension gives you the flexibility to keep your files organized effortlessly.
Unlock the Potential, But with Some Limitations
While this Chrome extension excels in batch downloading, it's important to note its limitations. It may not be suitable for downloading streaming media or embedded videos. Additionally, heavily javascripted sites where download links are generated "on the fly" pose a challenge for the extension.
Main Features That Simplify Your Downloading Process
- Extract links from active tabs, multiple open tabs, selected text, clipboard, local files, or pattern URLs
- Advanced filtering and mass renaming capabilities with customizable name masks
- Thumbnails grid view for images, allowing sorting by size and filtering by width/height
- Flexible routing system with automatic and favorite folders for convenient file management
- Pause, resume, and open downloaded files with ease
- Set server limits or opt for sequential downloading mode
- Export URL lists using various name masks for further reference
Please be aware that development is primarily focused on Windows, with limited testing on Linux. Unfortunately, there are no testing possibilities on MacOS at this time. Before using the extension, ensure that the "Ask where to save each file before downloading" option in Chrome Download Settings is unchecked to avoid excessive "Save As" dialog boxes.
Unlock the Power of Batch Downloading with Ease
Whether you're a power user or someone who regularly downloads multiple files, this Chrome extension offers a simplified and efficient solution. With its advanced features, user-friendly interface, and positive user reviews, it's a must-have tool for anyone looking to enhance their downloading experience.

Exactly what I'm looking for
Works great. Had to change download setting in google chrome and figure that out but love the software!!
Very simple to use 'as is' and offers interesting more advanced options. As close to perfection as one can get for this kind of app/use case.
Worked very well, downloaded ~900 audio samples from a website. Would've been impossible to do by hand so thanks :)
I'm sure there's something it could do better or is missing something helpful but the name of it is "simple mass downloader" and that's exactly what it is and I am so appreciative for it doing exactly that. I end up having to work with a lot of academic articles, old old books and images and I find using web browsers to do this frustrating so I am constantly queuing up tabs to download from libraries and will eventually break my hand individually clicking. Using this has made the process so freaking manageable especially with the options in the app to set up negative parameters in the search options. I've tried all sorts of different extensions and there are some I still use for specific uses but this is the one I have enabled by default. Thank you for this~~!
This is amazing to download lots of CC for games without clicking for hours. Why is it getting banned??
This extension has saved my life. Good job.
Helped at lot!
Did just what I needed It too!
Very helpful for backing up Pinterest boards. Just keep adding the image links from the context menu as you scroll to next set of images. Then you can save the either links to a text file, or download the images to a folder. You can select the jpg types or all image types like gif, webp, png. And it usually gets the originals, not the scaled down version; AI images need to be navigated to directly to get the original; it won't get the original for them automatically. But either way the files are named as they are in the link with image id; so very simple to get originals from that just in case. Next is how to get the pin id from the image id so I can link back to the pin information. Then create a personal gallery management system without rules and maybe host it using the link information so no storage needed. Also be careful if you have other image scraper extensions running in chrome as they can interfere with the download process and cause errors. ================== How I backed up my boards with this extension: Using simple mass downloader (C). Disable or remove any other scraper extension to prevent download errors. List boards with each of their sections into a flat list (A). Navigate to each area mentioned in (A). Retrieve the area path (B) mentioned in the list. Also in the URL. Like "board-name\section-name". Change download directory in (C) to (application__profile-name) + '\' + (B). Like "Pinterest__UserName\BoardnameA\SectionA"; don't use trailing slashes or foreword slashes (/) or it might break . Clear download list and reset resource list. If browser crashes, reload and restore the pages and try again. In the area (B), 1. use the context menu and click "add page links to list"; 2. select image extension to filter by in the popup window; 3. scroll to until the bottomost image on the screen is topmost on the screen; 4. repeat steps 1-3 until the bottom of the page is reached.
Simple, easy, intuitive. Great all around.
I right-click, choose "Add page links to list", nothing happens.
Great software and easy to use. Choosing what type of links to download is genius <3
I should have got this extension years ago. It is simple and excellent. Even if you think you don't need this, if you ever download more than one file from a web page, it will save you time. If I were to make one change, I would make it scan the page automatically when clicking the extension icon if the current list is empty. This would save me one click.
works right from the box, thanks!
nice
